ATLA Foundations: Economics
Want to start the school year with a solid understanding of basic Economic concepts and impress your friends with casual references to cost-benefit analysis? This course is for you! We’ll cover foundational principles such as scarcity, opportunity cost, comparative advantage, and the all-important supply and demand model. You’ll have the opportunity to get comfortable with short-answer and graphing problems. These fundamentals are essential to both Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, so you’ll start the fall semester ahead regardless of your class’s specific focus. Economics is about money, sure, but it’s also about human behavior and the science of decision-making. Whether you want to build a foundation of knowledge for Economics class or simply acquire a new lens through which to see yourself and the world, this course will position you for success.
