Advantage Testing of Houston has delivered outstanding educational services to the Houston scholastic community for over 20 years. Launched by Jay Resh in 1994, we have helped thousands of students reach their academic and professional goals.

We offer one-on-one tutoring for a wide range of academic subjects and standardized tests, including the SSAT and the ISEE for admission to Houston’s private and selective high schools. We develop individually tailored programs that complement each student’s schoolwork and achieve a consistent strategy for success. We also provide classes for standardized exam preparation for The Kinkaid School on their campus twice a year.

We also have a specialized School Readiness program that prepares young students for success as they begin their academic careers. SOAR builds a strong literacy foundation and nurtures executive functioning—the mental processes that enable a child to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, manage emotions, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Our highly skilled and experienced SOAR tutors use literature, games, puzzles, and other interactive activities to cultivate early literacy, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and crucial executive functioning skills.

Advantage Testing of Houston maintains an office specifically designed for tutoring that provides our students with an exceptional learning environment. Our office is easily accessible in the Post Oak area, just north of San Felipe and just inside Loop 610, a few blocks from the St. Regis and The Junior League. Several of our tutors can travel to student’s homes. Contact us to discuss your tutoring options.

Advantage Testing of Houston dedicated to promoting education for students of all backgrounds. Our pro-bono efforts include tutoring students at The Chinquapin School for standardized college admissions exams.
