James graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Accounting and was part of the Global Leadership Program. After university, James spent a year in South Korea teaching English before returning to the U.S. to tutor students in math and science. He began privately tutoring students in a wide variety of subjects (including test preparation), and he also spent a few years as a homeschool teacher. Aside from tutoring, James enjoys working on his fitness and powerlifting, as well as camping and traveling with his two dogs.
