Veronica earned her B.S. in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.A. in Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education. She is an alumna of both Americorps and Teach For America. Veronica’s research has been featured in publications such as The Atlantic and the Journal of Comparative Physiology, and she has presented her findings at international events, including a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Conference and the International Society for Behavioral Ecology. Veronica teaches middle school science in Chicago Public Schools, enjoys running, tennis, and being outdoors, and participates in Second City Chicago’s Comedy Writing program.
