Laura is a magna cum laude graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned a B.A. in Theatre and minored in English. While there, she was the co-head writer of the largest student-written musical in the country. Since graduating, Laura has become an award-winning playwright and screenwriter, winning the Burman New Play Prize and a Next Stage Residency at the Drama League. She was a finalist at the National Playwrights Conference and the grand prize winner of both ScreenCraft's Pilot and Playwriting awards. Her play All of Me will premiere Off-Broadway in the spring of 2024. As a former over-committed, high-achieving high schooler herself, Laura remembers exactly what her students are going through. She works tirelessly to provide a safe, supportive environment in which students can be their authentic selves, free to ask any question and encouraged to become their own best advocate in the classroom.
