Kate graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Theatre and Cognitive Science. Throughout her education, Kate has been recognized for academic excellence: she was a National Merit Scholar, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and a Hughes Scholar, and she won the Pennsylvania Award for Creative Achievement in the Arts and the Girl Scout Silver Award. Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, Kate is a professional actor and singer who is committed to theater for social change—when she is not tutoring, Kate leads Impact Theater's Veterans Project. She was also formerly the lead performer in Calculus: The Musical!, which was created to help kids understand calculus. Outside of tutoring and acting, Kate is a board game enthusiast and a classical pianist.
