Jecca graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a B.A. in Biological Sciences. After college, she earned a Masters of Science in Global Health and Development with a focus on maternal child health at University College London and a Masters of Science in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Jecca is a Marshall Scholar, a Schweitzer Fellow, the recipient of the Rice University Linda Williams Prize for Social Justice, and the recipient of the Hilda and Hershel Rich Family Endowment for Community Service. She is currently pursuing an M.D. at Stanford University with a focus on health inequities and maternal and child health.
