Patrick received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in addition to a B.A. in Pure Mathematics and a B.M. in Piano Performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music, where he was a member of both Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Kappa Lambda. Patrick is a former concert pianist and music theorist, and he is a former Ph.D. fellow in Music at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Patrick has won numerous awards and prizes in international piano competitions. Throughout his academic career, his areas of research have included Macroeconomics, Economic History, and the Performance and Analysis of Western Art Music. He is a current member of the Investment Committee of the Society for Music Theory, a board member of the arts organization Musica Sacra, and a former board member of The Golandsky Institute, an international arts-service non-profit based in New York. Patrick is an Associate Director of Advantage Testing of Boston and the Director of Advantage Testing of Raleigh-Durham.
