Nomita earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Smith College, where she cultivated her passion for tutoring and was named an Organic Chemistry Master Tutor. Nomita then earned her M.A. in Chemistry Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She continued to teach science through an organic chemistry teaching fellowship at Harvard University and then as an inorganic chemistry instructor. Nomita is currently pursuing her M.A. in School Administration at Sacred Heart University. In addition to tutoring, Nomita is a singer and dancer, receiving a Bollywood dance award and a nomination for lead vocalist. She is still a recording artist who was inducted into the Music Honors Society. Nomita was a Miss Connecticut semi-finalist. She is also an animal lover with a particular fondness for dogs, so she spends her free time volunteering for ESRA and ASPCA.
