Lauren is a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In addition to playing on the women’s lacrosse team at Berkeley, Lauren was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and active in Girls Who Code as an instructor and program director. Lauren was also a peer tutor throughout high school and continued her passion for teaching others at UC Berkeley as a private tutor. Lauren currently works as a full-stack software engineer at an exciting Fintech startup and is excited to continue teaching. Lauren is also writing a children’s book in collaboration with a charitable organization to support girls with STEM interests.
