Krishan was given a full scholarship to attend the third class of New York University Abu Dhabi, a highly selective undergraduate program that recruits students from 100+ countries to study in the Middle East. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English Literature. As a part of the program, he had the chance to live in Europe, Asia, and South America and work with companies such as Amazon and Deloitte.

Upon returning to the United States, Krishan completed a Masters (M.F.A.) at Brown University, where he discovered his love for education while teaching college seminars and classes at the Summer@Brown Pre-College program. In addition, he gained a faculty position at The Wheeler School, an independent private high school in Rhode Island. Currently, he is a professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the department for Integrated Design and Media. Outside the classroom, he loves spreading his passion for music and poetry by teaching workshops for the Poetry Foundation and other non-profits.
