Her educational foundation has been an interweaving path of study in biology/biochemistry, laboratory medicine, psychology and behavior, genetics/genetic counseling, clinical veterinary medicine, veterinary acupuncture, art, and medical art. She is a lifelong learner and committed generalist, and her educational experiences have uniquely prepared her to have a sweeping view of medicine from the micro to the macro. Her greatest teaching strength is her passion for painting connections between genetic and cellular phenomena, clinical stories, and human experience for informative and enlightening discussions with students preparing for futures in health, medicine, and biology-related fields.
