Originally from Atlanta, Danny double-majored at Middlebury College in Mathematics and Physics. He then graduated with a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was the recipient of several fellowships and awards. While in grad school, Danny helped with various science outreach programs related to physics, math, and engineering. After a postdoc and some teaching, Danny now works as a research physicist. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and playing with his dog.
