Dan earned his A.B., cum laude, in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and his M.A. in Math Education from Columbia Teacher's College. While originally hailing from the Chicago area, Dan has taught mathematics at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA, for over two decades and now calls the area his home along with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys teaching all levels of math, from algebra 1 to multivariable calculus, and coaching cross-country and basketball. Dan has been a volunteer SAT and math tutor for primarily first-generation college applicants in Lawrence and Lowell through his wife's nonprofit youth development and community engagement program, Aaron's Presents.
