Alex is a rising internal medicine resident physician at Mount Sinai Hospital. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics. Prior to medical school, he worked as a high school STEM teacher at a St. Louis charter school. He earned his M.D. from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. At Mount Sinai, Alex has served as a senior executive tutor, an executive admissions committee member, and an East Harlem free clinic provider. He is also an accomplished clinical researcher and has won numerous awards from the American Society of Hematology and Tisch Cancer Institute. After completing his medical training, he plans on becoming an oncologist engaged in patient care, medical education, and clinical research.
