Seren earned his B.A., with honors, in Political Science and his M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. He was a National Merit Scholar, a University Scholar, and an Indiana State Policy Debate champion. Before tutoring with Advantage Testing, Seren was a legislative aide to a senior member of Congress, where his portfolio included issues such as foreign affairs and education. As a social impact consultant, he has worked on teams advising top national and international foundations, corporate philanthropies, and social sector organizations. Seren is still very involved in education causes—he has even served as the elected Community Representative to the Chicago Local School Council.
