Robert earned a B.A. in Earth and Planetary Science from Harvard University, an M.A. in Education from Saint Peter's College, and an M.A. in Chemistry Education from Illinois State University. He was a National Merit Scholar and valedictorian of his class at Maple Hill High School. In addition to helping students achieve their academic goals as an Advantage Testing tutor, Robert is a classroom instructor of Advanced Placement Chemistry, Advanced Placement Physics, and International Baccalaureate Physics. He is a Math for America (MfA) Master Teacher Emeritus, and he is proud of his annual summer work with the LEDA Scholars Program.
In college, Robert was on the leadership team of Harvard SEDS, participated in intramural crew, and played the saxophone in the Harvard University Band and on-campus musical productions. In his spare time, he likes to travel to new places both near and far. He has visited four-fifths of the US states, more than half of the EU members, and four of the seven continents. When he's not tutoring students or exploring the globe, he likes to read, ski, stargaze, and play poker. He also enjoys fine dinners with friends and hanging out with his nieces and nephews.
