Luke earned his B.A. in Psychology and Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College, his M.A. in Communication from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and his Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Minnesota. While completing his Ph.D., Luke received a Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship and was recognized in the top 1% of graduate students at the University of Minnesota. Before tutoring with Advantage Testing, Luke was a competitor for speech and debate, where he won several state championships and was recognized as one of the best speakers in the country. Luke has also participated in this activity as a coach; several of his students have achieved national success. Additionally, Luke has published several scientific articles, appearing in journals such as Communication Quarterly and Communication Monographs.
