Lauren graduated from Texas Southern University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in chemistry. Since then, she has pursued a career in education and earned her M.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a focus on children with learning challenges. She is a Certified Autism Specialist from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). As a specialist in both reading remediation and math and science, Lauren has worked with a wide range of students from preschool to high school and is passionate about helping her students grow and realize academic potential beyond their expectations. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with her daughter.
