Kendall graduated with honors from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Film Studies and a minor in Social Theory. She took a semester off from college to live in a village in Southern India, where she worked at an orphanage for disabled children and a sanctuary for domestic violence victims. At Wesleyan, she made the Dean's List, received the best thesis screenplay award, and facilitated the student grief support program.
Originally from Austin, TX, she attended a magnet science and math academy, serving as class president, a leader in the marching band, a mentor for middle school girls, and editor of the school newspaper — all while competing across the country as an Irish Step dancer.
Professionally, Kendall has sold features and TV series, been staffed in writers' rooms for NBC, CBS, and USA, and worked as a curator for the SXSW Film Festival.
Growing up with an ethos for travel and social impact, Kendall continues to take every opportunity to get outside her bubble while simultaneously contributing to her community. She's traveled to 34 countries and currently volunteers at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital with her incredible therapy dog, Camille.
