Katherine earned her B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Global Health from Villanova University and later completed her M.A. in Chemistry at Princeton University. Throughout her academic career, she was recognized for both her scholarship and teaching, including election to Phi Beta Kappa, receiving Villanova’s G.N. Quam Medallion for Excellence in Chemistry, and earning Princeton’s Pickering Teaching Award and Hugh Stott Taylor Merit Prize.

Katherine is passionate about making science accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for students. She believes chemistry becomes far more approachable when students can connect concepts to the world around them and build confidence through curiosity and understanding.

Outside of academics, Katherine is a singer and actor and enjoys distance running, having completed both half marathons and marathons.
