Katherine, a National Merit Scholar, graduated cum laude from Rice University with a B.A. in Philosophy and as a Trustee Distinguished Allen Scholar. She then earned an M.S. in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester, where she was also a Dean's Scholar. Katherine recently completed a Master of Global Policy Studies and an M.A. in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin. She currently works as a writer, tutor, and mom in Austin, TX.
