Johanna received her B.A., cum laude, from Cornell, where she majored in Archaeology and made the Dean’s List every semester. She earned her M.A. from Cornell University, studying Historical Archaeology with a focus in early American History before receiving her Ph.D. from University College Dublin, studying Geochemical Archaeology with a focus in early Irish history. An accomplished academic, Johanna received a Hirsch Undergraduate Scholarship and a Hirsch Graduate Scholarship, and she was a Cornell Dean’s Scholar. She has continued her involvement in archaeological projects and has been published in several academic journals. Johanna spends most of her free time chasing her son around the playground.
