Yonglu graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Physics and Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology. He was a National Merit Semifinalist and an AP Scholar with Honor. Yonglu is currently pursuing his M.D./Ph.D. in Medicine with a research focus in cancer biology at Stanford University. Yonglu is also a jazz enthusiast who has played the alto saxophone in the Michigan All-State Jazz Band.
