Sylvia is trained in Medieval Latin, giving her a particular angle on Classics. She has an inexhaustible taste for specific, maddening, weird, riveting, sometimes off-putting texts and the ways they generate other specific, maddening, weird, riveting, sometimes off-putting texts. Sylvia used to do pottery and still sporadically writes poetry. Outside of Advantage Testing, Sylvia is a member of 350 MA, a climate change action group, and is one of the co-chairs of their Transportation Working Group.
