Nora graduated with honors from Rhode Island School of Design with a B.F.A. in Textiles and a minor in History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences. During her undergraduate years, she was a teaching assistant for first-year students in Experimental and Foundations Studies. Nora went on to earn an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from The New School in New York and worked in film production, exhibition design, publishing, and design direction for 10 years. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has worked as a narrative and design consultant, editor, archivist, and producer for fine arts galleries, tech startups, and film. Most recently, she earned a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (M.T.O.M.) degree from Emperor’s College; Chinese medicine marries her interests in philosophy, science, and art. She has also had previous experience working in cancer research and neuroendocrinology laboratories. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, playing tennis, and writing.
