Nick graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Astronomy from Villanova University and then earned his Ph.D. in Physics from MIT with a thesis in Astrophysics. He was awarded the Buechner Student Teaching Prize for outstanding educational contributions to the MIT Physics Department. During his academic career, he conducted research in optical cosmology at the Yale Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics and The Ohio State University Astronomy Department. In addition to tutoring with Advantage Testing, Nick is currently a Physics and Computer Science Instructor at Staples High School where he has mentored student finalists in national science fair competitions. He has also served as a grader for the College Board AP Computer Science Principles exam. Nick spends his free time with his wife and two children, and pursuing his running and woodworking hobbies.
