Janet graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University, where she earned a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Computer Science. She went on to work as a researcher at Sandia National Labs for several years. More recently, she taught computer science at Stuyvesant High School for a semester, an experience that gave her a great appreciation for the art of teaching well. She loves helping students understand complex concepts, gain confidence in their own abilities, and find joy in learning.
