Interview Training
Advantage Testing offers a distinctive interview-training program designed to improve an applicant’s interviewing and presentation skills. Students and clients receive training and practice adapted specifically to the type of interview they are preparing to face. By rehearsing the interview process with one of our consultants, candidates can gain confidence in their abilities to communicate their strengths effectively and to express themselves clearly. Applicants who complete our interview-training program are better equipped for future oral presentations and personal interviews in a range of contexts.
The training program includes the following components:
- Discussion of interviewing techniques, encompassing verbal and non-verbal communication
- Mock interview
- In-depth review of the mock interview in its entirety, including such dimensions as the interviewee's organization, focus, responsiveness, tone, pacing, and non-verbal communication
- Recommendations for improving the substance and presentation of the candidate’s responses to an interviewer’s questions.
